A recently collapsed retaining wall had to be carefully taken down by hand and all stone cleaned to re-use. Foundations were laid along the base of the wall and a reclaimed stone and concrete block wall erected with a concrete backing. Drainage was inserted from the original bed rock through the wall structure to the stone face. A concrete core was inserted in the upper level sandwiched between concrete blocks to add strength and stability.
